Hi.  Welcome to the GATE (Gifted And Talented Education) program.  I am Lisa Fox.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and am currently earning an endorsement in Gifted Education.  I am fortunate to be working with students in 4 buildings.  Students qualify for GATE services by achieving high scores on standardized tests, advanced grades in academics, and teacher nominations based on creativity and leadership in the classroom.  I meet with students weekly for specialized instruction that includes language arts, math, problem solving, and creative projects that incorporate the district’s GATE framework.  Students engage in high-level thinking, focus on development of social/emotional skills, and participate in enrichment learning activities.  We have fun challenging ourselves and working together to grow and learn.  Please contact me anytime.
