Meet Sharon Flinn

Sharon is a graduate of UNL, with Masters degrees from UNO and Leslie University.  She taught for 32 years in the Ralston Public Schools, the last 20 of which she was working with high ability students at three schools.  In 2007, she retired from Ralston and went to Liberty Elementary in OPS.  Sharon was the Instructional Facilitator there, before retiring in 2015.  She now teaches Challenge for OPS at Rose Hill and Washington Schools. 

In addition to teaching, Sharon teaches a course at the College of St. Mary.  She has two grown daughters - one living in Memphis and one in Kansas City.  She has 5 grandchildren and enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, gardening, and playing with the grandkids!
